  • Aish HaTorah

Excellent organization - great website - loads of information and truly interesting articles, beautifully presented.

  • MyJewishLearning.Com

MyJewishLearning.com is produced by Hebrew College and Jewish Family & Life! with lead funding by Edgar M. Bronfman and Lynn Schusterman. As the central Internet site for learning about Judaism, it is designed to be:

    • content rich and pedagogically sound--to invite and facilitate site visitors' engagement in ever-deeper levels of learning.

    • relevant to adult audiences of diverse backgrounds and learning objectives--from novice learners, who know little about Judaism, to experienced learners, who know a great deal but want to learn much more. (It is not designed for Judaic scholars.)
    • accurate, well written, and visually engaging.
    • representative of the wide and valid range of trans-denominational perspectives within Judaism.
    • compatible with a broad range of user experiences--from self-guided browsing and learning, to site-assisted browsing and learning. A key feature of this site will be content that is packaged to facilitate learning at graduated depths, at the learnerís option.

  • National Jewish Outreach Program

The National Jewish Outreach Program was founded in 1987, by Rabbi Ephraim Buchwald, in response to the urgent need to address the issues of Jewish assimilation and intermarriage. Since its founding, NJOP has become one of the largest and most successful Jewish outreach organizations in the world. NJOP reaches out to unaffiliated Jews by offering them positive, joyous, Jewish educational opportunities and experiences. NJOP currently sponsors free "Crash Courses" in Hebrew Reading and Basic Judaism, TURN FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SHABBAT programs and Beginners Services, as well as Jewish consciousness raising advertising campaigns. NJOP programs are presently offered at more than 3620* locations across North America, and in 30* countries worldwide. NJOP has successfully reached close to 715,000* North American Jews and engaged them in Jewish life.

  • CLAL - National Jewish Center for Learning & Leadership

CLAL - The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership was founded in 1974.  A think tank, leadership training institute and resource center, CLALís activities are dedicated to building a Jewish life that is spiritually vibrant and engaged with the intellectual and ethical challenges of the wider world.  CLALís faculty represents an unusual mix of rabbis from every denomination, and scholars from an array of disciplines.

Working with established and emerging volunteer leaders, rabbis, and Jewish professionals, CLAL has earned a reputation for provocative programming that embodies the principles of pluralism and helps to revitalize institutions.

Impressive faculty - hefty website - deep issues!

  • The American Jewish Committee

Advancing Democracy, Pluralism and Mutual Understanding
    Their Statement of Mission:
To safeguard the welfare and security of Jews in the United States, in Israel, and throughout the world.
To strengthen the basic principles of pluralism around the world, as the best defense against anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry.
To enhance the quality of American Jewish life by helping to ensure Jewish continuity and deepen ties between American and Israeli Jews.
We found a great deal of interesting and excellent material on this website....

  • The Jewish Week

Excellent, informative weekly journal about Judaism and Jewish activities primarily in the New York area - as well as nationally and in Israel.  Excellent writing, thoughtful essays and news.  Indispensible in our opinion...

  • Orthodox Union

This is the basic, classic Orthodox organization that establishes and certifies most of what is Kosher.  Excellent, informative website.

  • Tzohar

This is a wonderful school for special-needs children in Israel - a very loving, supportive, kind and cheerful learning environment for these children.  You can support them by becoming a member of American Friends of Tzohar - a great group of lively people (in New York & Brooklyn) committed to raising awareness of and support for this superb school.  We know these people and their organzation and we highly recommend it!  Also - it's a great organization to meet other active, professional Jews "with a heart."

  • Rebbe Gershom's Website

Rebbe Gershom is a rural frum Jew - who lives on a farm in Minnesota and writes about farm life and his geese and other animals - and this site is a delight!  I really enjoyed reading through it... Check it out - it's unique!

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is an international Jewish human rights organization dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust by fostering tolerance and understanding through community involvement, educational outreach and social action.
